Rebecca E. Burnaska, MSW, LICSW
Rebecca E. Burnaska completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst in 1996 with a BA in Psychology and a double minor in Sociology and Social Work. Rebecca continued her studies at Rhode Island College and graduated with a Master’s in Social Work in 1998 with a concentration in children and families.
Throughout her years of experience; she has learned to view her clients within a more ecological/environmental perspective. Since graduation, Rebecca has worked in a variety of settings including: residential facilities; foster care; school settings for children with special needs and out-patient clinics.
Areas of interest include: family therapy, group therapy and identifying strengths in individuals and families so as to maximize their potential. Currently, Rebecca is working on a per-diem basis as a Crisis Clinician at Merrimac Valley Hospital and Anna Jaques Hospital.
Rebecca prides herself on developing relationships with her clients and working with treatment resistant clients and is comfortable utilizing all treatment modalities.
